Surveys/Polls/Quizzes
I decided to take a quiz to decide which 1 of the 7 Dwarfs I'm oddly similar to based on Disney movies.

Here are my results, I'd say there fairly accurate.

Reflection Results
Based upon, the comments out of the 39 people that took this quiz (including me) only 5% of people were Doc, 7% were Happy, 23% were Sneezy, 12% Bashful and Sleepy, 2% Grumpy, and finally 15% of people were Dopey.
Majority of people received the result that they were Happy Dwarf and were actually pleased with these results, it meant that they were really important people that brought a positive atmosphere. However, there were a lot of people who got Bashful and believed they should've been Dopey instead. The emotion behind peoples results varied. But most people agreed or were content with their results.
I feel like this was a good quiz to take a good source because the questions were very straightforward. You choose between at least 5, max. 9 Disney movies of different genres maybe 10 times. It was also very difficult for me and some of the commenters to choose between certain movies.

I liked how you chose to analyze a simpler quiz, rather than in in-depth detailed survey. Sometimes simplicity can lead to the best results! I liked the analysis based on result answers, how people who got Happy were more inclined to believe the validity of the survey, whereas those that got Bashful seemed to disagree. I think a good way to expand on this analysis would be to go more into depth on how each result may be tied to certain responses, what personality features of 'bashful' make people seem to disagree with it? is it a flaw within the survey or does it speak to human's response to how they perceive themselves?
ReplyDeleteI find it really interesting how the majority was Happy. One would think that the majority would be Sleepy or Grumpy (those are certainly ones I would gravitate to) especially in a day, age and culture of insomnia and over working. It brings me hope that people still relate to Happy. However, that could be something that you could analyze, why the majority is Happy even when the atmosphere currently is not as happy.
